Overactive bladder (OAB) is the name for a group of urinary symptoms that include urinary frequency, urgency (a strong sensation of the need to urinate), nocturia (waking up at night) and may include leakage of urine accompanied by urgency. This effects more than 30% of women across all ages.
OAB is not a normal part of getting older.
